All tutoring support is available through Acumu’s notes system and the live platform. Acumu provides asynchronous support for students to receive a detailed, personalized critique of any written assignment, such as an essay, paragraph, report, personal statement, cover letter, resume, or creative work.
Live writing tutors are also available for on-demand sessions or asynchronous question submission. Live tutors are available to assist students with specific writing questions such as pre-writing techniques, research strategies, documentation, and grammar and mechanics. In addition, students may select the more specific subject of Research & Documentation for help with citation of sources, documentation systems, proper attribution and documentation of source material, using evidence to strengthen claims/arguments, evaluating the quality of source materials and evidence, understanding plagiarism, and research methods and strategies.

Acumu’s live tutoring support is devoted to helping students from A to Z. Students can work one-on-one with our expert tutors using our advanced notes system for uploading documents or links when needed. This enables our tutors to address reading comprehension, pronunciation, vocabulary building, understanding reading assignments, answering reading study questions, and responding to readings.
